Columbia Slough Watershed Council is offering free 2 hour canoe rentals. Each canoe comfortably seats 2 people, a 3rd can fit in the middle if desired. Each canoe must have at least 1 person who is 18 or older, the second paddler must be 12 or older. All rentals begin and end at the time you sign up for - please arrive on time.

Getting There: We will be launching from Kelley Point Park - look out for the Columbia Slough Watershed Council sign. Parking is free. Taking public transportation? Bus #11 drops riders at N Columbia Blvd & N Kelley Point Park Rd, a short walk to the launch area.

What to bring: Pack along water, a snack, shoes you don’t mind getting wet, and dress for the weather! Leave large bags at home. We will have some small snacks and drinks to share, as well as life jackets, paddles, and dry bags.

Accessibility: There is no restroom available at the boat launch area, however there is one available further in the park/near the last parking lot. Previous paddling experience is not required. Participants must be able to sit for 1 - 2 hours. There is a low-grade incline dirt/gravel hill that leads to the waters edge and our launching area.
