CSWC and Portland Parks & Recreation are teaming up to restore this stretch of the lower Slough that serves as a refuge for juvenile salmon and even hosts the occasional sea lion! Come enjoy a brisk Saturday morning planting cottonwood and other native trees at this treasured public park at the confluence of the Columbia Slough, Willamette River, and Columbia River. Meeting Location: N Kelley Point Park Rd, Portland, OR, 97203. Public parking is available at the park.
Public Transportation: Take the #11 bus line, get off at N Simmons Rd, cross the bridge over the Columbia Slough and turn left at N Kelley Point Park Rd. Keep going for approximately 1 mile to the Kelley Point Park parking lot.
Restroom: There is an ADA accessible restroom on the north side of the park.
Accessibility: Work at this site will take place on soft, uneven ground.
