Slough Science: Climate Resilience At Home, In Your Yard, and Beyond

  • StormBreaker Brewing 8409 North Lombard Way Portland, OR, 97203 United States (map)

Join Columbia Slough Watershed Council for the monthly Slough Science event series! This month we are excited to partner with East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District for a workshop on Climate Resilience: At Home, In Your Yard, and Beyond.

Learn how climate change is impacting soil & water resources, and what that means for local plants, wildlife, and people. We’ll share how our choices and actions at home, in the yard, and in the community can increase our resilience to a changing climate. Tips range from building healthy soil and conserving water to selecting the right plants. You can be a part of the solution, starting right at home!

Getting there: This event will be held in community space at StormBreaker Brewing in St Johns. Free street parking is available. Public Transportation? Bus lines 4, 16, 44, and 75 make stops nearby.
