Únete a una caminata primaveral con Columbia Slough Watershed Council para ver aves en el parque Kelley Point Park. Este evento es gratuito y abierto para todas las edades.  Será guiado por observadores locales de aves: Ryan Gilpin y Melissa Orozco (de Educate Ya); todo el evento será en español.
Qué traer: Empaca agua, unos bocadillos, binoculares (si tienes), y ven vestido para el clima usando varias capas de ropa abrigadas/impermeables. ¿No tienes binoculares? ¡Ningún problema! Tendremos unos disponibles para prestarte durante el evento.
Cómo llegar: Nos reuniremos en el último estacionamiento del parque (hay tres lugares diferentes para estacionarse) al final del camino principal; el estacionamiento es gratuito. ¿Vas en transporte público? Toma el autobús #11 que te dejará en Simonds y N Lombard. Desde ahí, camina hacia el norte aproximadamente 1/4 de milla y gira a la izquierda en N Kelley Point Rd. Continua ~1/2 milla hasta llegar al estacionamiento.
Accesibilidad: El camino es plano, pavimentado y accesible para sillas de ruedas. Es posible que durante la caminata, nos desviemos del camino para observar aves en senderos laterales donde hay tierra o áreas cubiertas de hierba. Los baños están ubicados cerca del estacionamiento.

Join Columbia Slough Watershed Council and birders Ryan Gilpin and Melissa Orzoco of Educate Ya for a spring bird walk at Kelley Point Park. This free event is open to all ages, and will be hosted by local birders Ryan Gilpin and Melissa Orozco (of Educate Ya): the entire event will be in Spanish. 

What to bring: Pack along water, a snack, binoculars if you have them, and come dressed for the weather with warm/waterproof layers. Don't have binoculars? No problem! We will have some available for borrow during the event.

Getting There: We will meet at the parking lot furthest from the park entrance - free parking is availble. Taking public transportation?  Bus #11 will drop you off at Simonds and N Lombard. From here, walk north less than 1/4 mile and go left on N Kelley Point Rd. Continue ~1/2 mile to the parking lot.

Accessibility: The path is flat, paved and wheelchair accessible. At times we may stray off of the path to bird on smooth dirt side trails and grassy areas. Restrooms are located close to the parking lot.
