Forest Bathing Walk at Kelley Point Park

  • Kelley Point Park 8484 North Kelley Point Park Road Portland, OR, 97203 United States (map)

Join Irene Bailey, Program Director of Temenos Rising, for a guided forest bathing walk at Kelley Point Park on Sunday, May 15th from 2:00pm - 4:30pm.

This 2.5-hour guided forest bathing walk supports the remembering that we are all connected to each other and all life. Connection to the natural world increases our general well-being and helps us restore our relationship to place.

By slowing down and being present, we offer our bodies, minds, and hearts a nourishing break from the stress and challenges we are currently facing. Forest Bathing is a practice that calms the nervous system and reminds us to be present to the gift of life.

Location: N Marine Drive and Lombard Street—8484 N Kelley Point Park Rd

** We will meet at the third and final parking lot. This lot is at the end of the road and borders the Columbia River.

Accessibility: The paths at Kelley Point Park are paved and wheelchair accessible, and there is an ADA accessible restroom on the north side of the park. However, the event may involve going off trail onto dirt with tree roots and some uneven terrain. If you have any questions, please email Ryan at Ryan.Banning@columbiaslough.org
