Ever find yourself wondering about the birds in your backyard or your local park? Looking to try out a new hobby or brush up on your bird and plant knowledge? Join bird walk leaders Thomas Meinzen and Ryan Gilpin for a free bird walk at Smith and Bybee Wetlands Natural Area, one of the country's largest urban wetlands.
If you have binoculars, we encourage you to bring them; if not, we can provide binoculars to borrow for the walk.
Accessibility: We will be following a gentle paved trail with some tree roots which ends at a wheelchair accessible viewing platform. The parking and restrooms are wheelchair accessible as well. The parking area has bike racks and is within 1/2-mile of two bus stops.
