Join Columbia Slough Watershed Council and Güero Bird Club for a combined event of two of our favorite things - birding and trash cleanup! This event will be held along the Alderwood Trail in NE Portland. This event is free and open to all ages.
What to bring: Pack along water, binoculars, and warm layers. Snacks, drinks, gloves, garbage bags, and pickers will be available. Additional binoculars will be available for borrow as well. *Don't have a warm/waterproof jacket? Reach out to Amanda.
Accessibility: Free parking is available along Glassplant Rd. There is no restroom on site. The path we will take birding is a flat paved 0.25 mile out-and-back trail.
Public Transportation: Bus #87 makes the closest stop to Johnson Lake by dropping riders off at NE 105th & Simpson.
Güero Bird Club: Sign up for their newsletter, visit their Instagram (@guerobirdclub), or snag a tasty torta at their shop in NE!
