Bird Walk & Cleanup

Join Columbia Slough Watershed Council, local group Güero Bird Club for a bird walk and cleanup event at Johnson Lake Natural Area in NE Portland. This event is free and open to all 14 and older.

What to bring: Pack along water, binoculars, and warm layers. Columbia Slough Watershed Council will have snacks as well as a hot beverage to share! No binoculars? No problem! We have plenty of extras. *Don't have a warm/waterproof jacket? Reach out to Amanda.

Accessibility: Free parking is available along the road. There is no restroom on site. The path we will take birding is a mostly flat dirt 0.25 mile out-and-back trail.

Public Transportation: Bus #87 makes the closest stop to Johnson Lake by dropping riders off at NE 105th & Simpson, a 0.5 mile walk.
