BIPOC Nature Connection Walk at Smith & Bybee Wetlands Natural Area

  • Smith & Bybee Wetlands Natural Area 5300 N Marine Drive Portland, OR 97203 (map)

Join healer Misako Yamamato in connecting with nature at Smith & Bybee Wetlands Natural Area. This event is an opportunity to slow down, explore your inherent and deep connections to the natural world, and access the Earth’s nourishment that is always available. Misako will guide you in various nature connection practices and teach you the foundations of the ancient, life sustaining practice of Qigong (pronounced "chee gong" ). You will be invited to wander, be curious, and open to your childlike wonder and playfulness.

What is Qigong? Qigong combines gentle meditative movements, stretching, breath work, energy awareness and visualization to encourage free flow of vital life force (Qi) for improved health and wellness.
