The Council launches 'Alt Gala'

Although we missed hosting our annual Slough Celebration Gala this past April, now more than ever we're looking forward to celebrating with you in new creative ways! That's why we hope you'll join us for the Council's ‘Alt Gala Week’ from May 18th - 22nd, a week filled with a virtual auction, trivia, tips & tricks, and a "live-ish" video event on Friday at 5:30pm!

On Monday, May 18th starting at 8:00am, we will open the online auction to the public and let the bidding begin! Thanks to over 40 amazing community partners and local businesses, we have a myriad of gift packages for you and your family to bid on while supporting the Slough! Gifts include wine bundles, Portland Timbers and Trailblazers packages, restaurants and bar gift certificates, interior design & garden consultations, and more!

On Friday, May 22nd, we encourage everyone to dress in your Friday finest, prepare a few appetizers and a beverage of choice, and tune in for our "live-ish" 'Alt Gala' by clicking this link! During the video, you'll have a chance to win bottles of wine and Council Swag through Slough Trivia, learn a few tips & tricks from our expert staff on native plants and the watershed’s natural history, learn about the Henrietta Award winners, and hear from a few volunteers, Board of Directors, and our Executive Director.
