Columbia Slough Trail Trash Cleanup

Join Columbia Slough Watershed Council for an on land cleanup along the Columbia Slough Trail located near NE 138th Ave. This area contains a high concentration of litter that poses a threat to public safety and environmental quality. This cleanup is not family-friendly or suitable for anyone under the age of 16 due to an increased presence of hazardous materials. Safety guidelines will be put in place before the cleanup begins.

Getting There: Free parking is available in the NE corner of the Costco parking lot. This is the side closest to the Columbia Slough. Taking public transportation? Bus 87, 21, and 22 make stops close by!

What To Bring: Pack along water, weather appropriate clothing, and sturdy close toed shoes. Work gloves, trash bags, trash pickers, drinks, and light snacks will be provided for you.

Accessibility: Volunteers can expect to work along a dirt trail, with options to work on more uneven and sloped terrain. Please note that if it has been raining, this site will be muddy. There are no restrooms on site.
