The Columbia Slough Watershed Council is hiring an Executive Director. The Executive Director’s primary duties are providing leadership of the Council, driving the implementation of actions to fulfill the organization’s mission and implementing the strategic plan with the Board of Directors. The Executive Director manages all aspects of the Council’s day to day operations including supervising staff, budgeting, and achieving organizational goals. As the face of the Council, the Executive Director strengthens relationships and collaborates with partners and donors achieving long term financial stability and a growing Council presence and network in the community. The Council is also focused on the development of a comprehensive plan to improve racial equity and diversity in our programs and governance. The Executive Director will lead this work and guide staff in plan implementation. The Executive Director operates under the general direction of the Council’s board of directors.
