 Event Date: Saturday, March 13, 2010 Begins At: 9:00 AM Ends At: 12:00 PM Event Type: Volunteer Volunteer for this event Description: The small section of Fairview creek that flows through the Gresham neighborhood Conifer Parks is being quickly eroded away due to the lack of native vegetation on site. The Columbia Slough Watershed council, with help from the City of Gresham, is joining forces with Conifer Parks to implement a streambank restoration project to curb the erosion problem. Join us for the kick-off of this project as we plant hundreds of native shrubs and trees along the creek.
Food and beverages as well as gloves and tools will be provided.
